Retail Banking Changes

Dear Valued Customer,
As promised in our previous correspondence, we are excited to share updates with you on the conversion to the Republic Financial Holdings Limited’s (RFHL) technology platforms. Here are some changes you can expect when the systems go live April 4, 2022.

New Account Numbers

  • You will be assigned a new 12-digit Republic Bank account number.
  • Your account type may also change to ensure that you have the best account suited to your needs. You will need to know this when using ATMs or conducting point of sale transactions.
  • A unique Customer ID number has been assigned to you; it will help us identify you on our systems and will be required when you register for our Online Banking platform- RepublicOnline.
  • The table below shows your existing account number(s), new account type(s), new account number(s) and Customer ID:

While your new account number(s) will not be activated until the new system goes live, it is important for you to advise anyone with whom you regularly conduct banking transactions (for example: employers for salary/pension payments and incoming wire transfers) of the change to your account number(s); and the effective date.

Online Banking/RepublicOnline
Upon conversion to our new systems, you will be sent a personalized email to register for RepublicOnline and the RepublicMobile App, our internet banking and mobile banking platforms. These will allow you to manage your banking needs safely and securely. Some new, cutting edge features you can expect are:

  • Regional/international wire transfers.
  • Cardless Cash - Send funds to anyone with a mobile phone or even collect funds at any Republic Bank ATM, without the use of a bank card.
